OhmIQ, a world leader in Ohmic conduction technology, has tapped experienced marketing and business executive Frederique Pirenne to lead the company as CEO. Pirenne will be supported by a team of specialized engineers, physicists, marketers, and a qualified board of directors. 

Pirenne is an international marketing, entrepreneurship, and business consulting expert. Before joining OhmIQ, he consulted for global giants like Volvo, Scandinavian Airlines, and Aritco, applying his extensive business experience, networking acumen, and practical perspective to every project. 

Prior to his consulting career, Pirenne worked at Electrolux Group and managed the $1.2 billion AEG brand. There, he gained valuable insights into appliance development and marketing, which helped him understand many of the competitive advantages sought by potential OhmIQ customers. Additionally, Pirenne’s experience as a co-founder of MyTelescope.io, a Swedish mar-tech start-up, equipped him with practical knowledge of emerging technological challenges and opportunities.

OhmIQ was founded in 2022 by IAG Capital Partners. Now, the company holds 126 patents globally and employs more than 15 individuals in North Charleston, South Carolina, and abroad.  

OhmIQ’s core technology employs Ohm’s law and uses graphite electrodes and electronic controls to pass an electric current through water safely. This transfer converts electrical energy into thermal energy, creating instant and efficient heating.
