Pete brings nearly thirty years of embedded systems and product engineering to OhmIQ, spanning firmware, power electronics, real-time controls, and the full software stack on top. As Chief Product Officer he owns the path from core technology to shipping product, turning OhmIQ’s ohmic array platform into hardware that runs inside partners’ equipment, from coffee machines to commercial kitchen appliances. Before OhmIQ he spent over twenty years as an independent systems architect: firmware for the energy-monitoring hardware that became Google PowerMeter’s first device partner, anti-tamper firmware deployed across major US banks, and the embedded software and regulatory documentation behind a medical sterilizer for a manufacturer later acquired by Stryker. He started his career as a contract developer at Sun Microsystems on the early Java platform, and holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the College of Charleston.
