Scaling, Solved – OhmIQ removes the cost of scale, not the minerals. Because we don't use the resistance heating elements that cause most scale, what little forms stays minimal and largely self-flushes — turning service intervals from months into years. We use the liquid being heated as the conductor and apply electricity in a very specific way to stimulate water molecules and generate heat.
Time – Because we are not relying on a heat transfer from a hot element to the liquid being heated, our time to temperature is faster through direct heating.
Efficiency – Because we do not experience the efficiency losses caused by scaling, coupled with the direct heating technology we use, we are more efficient than resistance heaters.
Precision - By utilizing our patented Ohmic Array Technology (OAT), we electronically control the temperature of the liquid being heated with adjustments made 60 times per second. This allows a high degree of precision to deliver exactly what the application needs, when it needs it.
